Vintage 1980’s B.B. Collection Silver/Gun Metal Metallic Raunch Cocktail Dress with Sweetheart Neckline

Vintage 1980’s , B.B. (Barbara Barbara) Collections  Raunch Silver/Gun Metal Metallic Cocktail Dress. The dress was listed as silver but, I think the color is more in line to Gun Metal.  The  dress has a Sweetheart Neckline,  long sleeves with  one button fastener, with a raunch front, 12″ split in front and  the bodice is lined with open back and  shoulder pads.  The back of dress has one button at neck,  with a  7.5 ” back zipper(nylon) with hook and eye fastener, and a  fishtail swirl starting at top of zipper and extends 20″.  Labeled size 4 but, please use measurements provided below. Fabric consist of  68% Rayon and 32% Metallic and dry clean only. Dress has been cleaned and ready for wear. Excellent condition.

Measurements were taken lying flat:  Please double; Bust 14.5, Waist 12.5″, Hips 15″.  Actual: Sleeve length 23″, Shoulder to Shoulder 16″, Shoulder to hemline 47″.

History Information: B.B. Collections was an Importer, Manufacturer and Wholesaler. They were located at 1418 S. Essex St., in Los Angeles.  I’m still researching and will add info when located. If anyone has any details please drop me a line.
