History: Cache was a luxury clothing store that was started in 1975 as a boutique, by Marilyn Rubinson, in Brooklyn, New York. Cache initial focus was on selling formal dresses to women in their 20s. Cache claims Ms. Rubinson was the first to bring well-know designers Mugler, Armani and Versace styles to the U.S. By the early 2000s, the company had over 200 stores. Cache doors closed in 2015.
